According to the news, on August 5, Daikin Heavy Industries announced that its subsidiary Tangshan Dajin Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd. signed a contract with a Norwegian shipowner to build 2 bulk carriers. The total amount is equivalent to about RMB 1 billion and will be delivered in batches in 2029. This marks that the company's shipbuilding capacity has been recognized by leading international shipowners, and the second growth curve has accelerated.

According to public information, since 2026, Daikin Heavy Industries has signed a total of 6 ship construction contracts, involving the determination of 21 ships, with a fixed contract amount of about 10.8 billion yuan. If 1 optional ship is included, the total scale exceeds 11.3 billion yuan. All ships will be delivered from 2028 to 2029.
