Kazera Prepares Interim Operational Plan for Heavy Mineral Sands Project in South Africa

04:16 AM EDT, 08/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kazera Global (KZG.L) unit Whale Head Minerals completed an interim operational plan covering the plant and equipment requirements for its partner, South Africa AT Investments, at the Heavy Mineral Sands project in Alexander Bay, South Africa. The investment company's interim plan for its new partner will target a plant production rate of 30,000 tonnes of heavy mineral concentrate per month, with first production in early 2027, according to a Wednesday release. Kazera signed a mining cooperation and production-sharing agreement with South Africa AT Investments to develop the project in July.
