The reporter learned from the State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company that on August 12, as the 1,038 kilowatt distributed photovoltaic project of Ningbo Science Middle School in Qianwan New Area of Ningbo was connected to the grid and put into operation, the installed scale of distributed photovoltaics in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province exceeded 10 million kilowatts. According to reports, distributed photovoltaics in Ningbo are mainly deployed in scenarios such as industrial parks, public buildings, and residential roofs. Among them, industrial parks account for about 84% of installed capacity. Based on an annual equivalent of 1,000 hours of full power generation, distributed photovoltaics in Ningbo can generate 10 billion kilowatt-hours per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 5 million tons per year. Facing challenges such as output fluctuations, local consumption, and distribution network operation brought about by large-scale distributed photovoltaic access, the State Grid Ningbo Power Supply Company enhances the ability to predict, schedule, and consume new energy sources through power grid simulation platforms, distributed photovoltaic operation monitoring applications, and municipal virtual power plants. At the same time, an integrated “electricity and carbon” service and a “Sunshine Treasurer” digital settlement platform were launched for industrial parks to improve the efficiency of the park's comprehensive energy use services and promote local consumption of green electricity on roofs.
