Jane Street issued $14.6 billion in bonds, and the market making giant will use the proceeds of the financing for technical infrastructure and expansion of trading strategies. According to people familiar with the matter, Jane Street issued advanced guaranteed notes due in 2031, 2033, and 2036, at a scale of US$5.86 billion, US$5.13 billion and US$3.64 billion, respectively. Among them, the longest-term bond had a pricing yield of 8.088%. This fixed-rate bond offering, led by J.P. Morgan Chase, is part of Jane Street's plan to repay a variable rate loan and restructure its $11 billion debt burden. Bloomberg previously reported that Jane Street has been consulting with Pinhao and other agencies to provide related financing.
