According to Zhitong Finance App News, Samsonite (01910.HK) announced that on August 12, 2026, Samsonite LLC (i.e., the buyer), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, entered into a membership rights purchase agreement with Beis and the seller on the acquisition. Based on this, the buyer has agreed to purchase the acquired rights (85% of Beis's external members' rights) at a cash cost of US$178.5 million, subject to certain adjustments and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the agreement. Subject to the terms of the acquisition being met or exempted, it is currently anticipated that the acquisition will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.
