According to the China Trade Remedies Information Network, on August 11, the Internal Market Protection Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission issued Notice 2026/500/AD38R1 to launch an anti-dumping situation review investigation against titanium dioxide originating in China in response to an application from Eurasian Economic Union producers. The products involved in the case were pigments of 80% or more of titanium dioxide by dry volume. They involved products under the Eurasian Economic Union tax code 3206110,000, but did not include titanium dioxide used in the production of perfumes, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food. Anti-dumping duties were suspended during the investigation of the case. The notice is effective from the date it is issued.
