The State Pipeline Network Group announced on August 13 that the Lianyungang to Huai'an section of the Lianyungang to Yizheng crude oil pipeline project, a key national oil and gas infrastructure project, was successfully put into operation. This is the first 10-million-ton crude oil pipeline to be put into operation at the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan. It is of great significance in optimizing the energy supply structure in central and eastern China and improving the “national one network” layout for oil and gas. After the Lianhuai section of the Lianyi Pipeline was put into operation, crude oil was finally delivered to Yizheng Station, the crude oil hub in eastern China, with a daily output of up to 70,000 tons. The service guarantees refining and chemical enterprises in Jiangsu Province and along the Yangtze River, effectively improving the energy consumption multi-channel resource support capabilities of users along the Yangtze River River, and playing an important role in optimizing the layout of the oil and gas pipeline network and unified allocation of imported crude oil resources in China's Yangtze River Delta region.
