Germany's RWE Posts Higher H1 Attributable Net Income; Revenue Down

01:26 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RWE (RWE.F) said Thursday that its net income for the first half rose, while revenue declined year over year. Net income attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was 1.56 billion euros, compared with 1.45 billion euros a year earlier. EPS moved to 2.19 euros from 1.98 euros. The German energy company's revenue was 7.68 billion euros, compared with 10.16 billion euros a year ago. The company maintained its full-year 2026 outlook, previously announced in July. It still expects adjusted net income of between 1.95 billion euros and 2.45 billion euros and an adjusted EPS of 2.95 euros. It also continues to expect adjusted EPS to grow 10% annually through 2031, reaching 4.55 euros. The board also affirmed its target dividend of 1.32 euros per share for 2026, reflecting a 10% increase over the 2025 payout.
