PolyPeptide Group Swings to Profit in H1; Revenue Rises

01:36 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- PolyPeptide Group (PPGN.SW) said Thursday it swung to attributable profit in the first half, while total income jumped year over year. Result attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was 9.1 million euros, compared with a loss of 26.5 million francs euros. EPS was 0.28 euro, compared with a loss per share of 0.80 euro. The Swiss contract development and manufacturing organization's total income was 246.9 million euros, compared with 167.6 million euros a year ago. Looking ahead, the company raised its guidance for full-year 2026 to year-over-year revenue growth of 25% to 30% at constant currency rates, compared with the previous guidance of 20% to 25%, excluding potential transaction costs and expenses associated with the takeover offer from Samsung Biologics. Meanwhile, PolyPeptide affirmed its medium-term outlook of doubling its 2023 revenue by 2028.
