Mandatum to Acquire Majority Stake in Swedish Asset Manager Cliens

02:29 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Mandatum (MANTA.HE) agreed to acquire a 78.4% stake in Cliens Holding, the parent entity of Swedish asset manager Cliens Kapitalförvaltning, for 705 million kronor. Under the terms, Cliens will continue to operate under its own brand, with its current management and employees retaining a 21.6% ownership, the Finnish financial services company said Thursday. Subject to regulatory clearances, the deal is expected to close by the end of 2026.
