British Monthly Construction Output Down 0.1% in June

02:39 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Construction output in the UK inched down 0.1% month over month in June, following a 0.8% fall in May, the Office for National Statistics said Thursday. Analysts expected a 0.3% decline for the month. On a yearly basis, construction output was 2.3% lower, compared with the revised 2% decrease earlier and the market forecast of a 2.4% contraction.
