According to Woofun AI, the non-custodial Bitcoin exchange platform BoltzmannMachine (BoltzmannMachine) ushered in a turning point after completing the transfer of control, and the platform was acquired by a group of experienced Bitcoin industry players.

Last week, the frequency, intensity, and complexity of AI-based attacks increased significantly, causing the five-person self-funded startup team to suffer financial losses. The team ceased service on August 3, given the ongoing high level of threat making long-term operations unviable.

Despite service disruptions, the security of users' funds was not affected thanks to the non-custodial architecture. According to data compiled by Woofun AI, the suspension decision was aimed at avoiding further damage, and the original founder immediately resigned.

Although the identity of the buyer has not been disclosed, as a veteran Bitcoin supporter, it has invested capital and technical resources to investigate and fix bugs in an effort to resume the exchange service as soon as possible. The purpose of this move is to maintain the platform's features known for privacy protection and autonomous control, provide users with a sense of stability and security, and ensure zero risk of assets under non-custodial characteristics.

This incident marks a critical point in the development of Boltzmann aircraft and highlights the severity of artificial intelligence-enhanced cyber threats. As AI tools become more popular, cryptographic platforms must upgrade their defense mechanisms to enhance resilience to risks. Continued investment in security infrastructure has become an industry consensus, and the involvement of new owners makes it possible for the platform to move forward in complex security challenges.
