05:43 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe raised its earnings forecasts for Vestas Wind Systems (VWS.CO) after the wind turbine manufacturer upgraded its full-year 2026 EBIT margin guidance as part of its second-quarter results. "Vestas raised its 2026 EBIT (before special items) margin target from 6-8% to 7-9%, backed by improved profitability in the Onshore and Offshore businesses. Following this increase, we have raised our respective margin estimates to reflect the same. Given that the Offshore business is expected to turn profitable in 2027, this guidance increase will reassure investors on profitability within the Onshore business. Consequently, we also believe that it signals higher margins in 2027 and 2028 than we had previously modelled. Thus, we have raised our EPS estimates across the board to better highlight the group's progress towards its mid-term margin target of 10%+," the research firm said Wednesday. Accordingly, analysts boosted their EPS forecasts for 2026 and 2027 by 24.8% and 15.3%, respectively, to 1.27 euros and 1.45 euros. AlphaValue/Baader Europe rates the stock at add, with a price target of 228 Danish kroner.
