Yuneng International (01298) made a profit. It is expected that the net profit for the medium term will be HK$7 million to HK$9 million, turning a year-on-year loss into a profit

According to Zhitong Finance App, Yuneng International (01298) issued an announcement. It is expected that the Group will make net profit of HK$7 million to HK$9 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (this period), turning a loss into a profit, while the six months ending June 30, 2025 (the previous period) will be a net loss of HK$2.7 million.

According to an analysis of currently available data, it is expected that the loss turned into profit during the period is mainly due to (i) the increase in revenue and gross profit from the supply chain business, mainly due to increased demand for photovoltaic modules and silicon materials; and (ii) the increase in dividend income from equity investment.
