According to information, guar beans are an important industrial raw material in the fields of energy, food, textiles, medicine, etc., and are widely used and irreplaceable, especially in oil and gas extraction. CNPC alone requires 30,000 tons of raw materials for guar beans every year, and there is a huge raw material gap in the domestic market all year round. For a long time, China's high-end guar gum raw materials have been highly dependent on imports, and there are obvious shortcomings in the industrial chain supply chain. In order to break the overseas monopoly, breeding expert Huang Mingan spent more than 20 years in the fields of Hainan after his retirement, continued to explore localized guar bean breeding, and selected the first certified guar bean variety “Huijin No. 1” in China in 2012 to fill the gap in domestic varieties.
