The Macau Investment Promotion Institute said on the 13th that in the first half of 2026, 194 companies received new investment plans to launch new investment plans in Australia, an increase of 7% over the previous year. In the new investment plan mentioned above, more than 60% of the projects are “1+4" industries, up more than 40% from the same period last year. In particular, the big health, modern finance, and high-tech sectors grew significantly. Big health industry projects grew by more than 60%, and modern finance and high-tech industry projects recorded multiple growth. The China Merchants and Investment Promotion Bureau said that a total of 133 investment projects were completed in the first half of the year. Among the settlement projects, there was no shortage of listed companies and leading companies with high growth potential to set up locations or venture capital funds in Australia, showing international capital's confidence in the prospects of the Macau market. The second half of the year will use a “combo punch” approach, combined with measures and resources such as the Macau Investment Promotion Ambassador, the “Plan to Support the Economic Development of Macau's First Store”, and the Australia-Qin partnership to provide a convenient one-stop landing channel for global investors.
