The open instruction set architecture represented by RISC-V has become an important support for the intelligent interconnection of everything in the AI era. In order to promote the in-depth development of domestic RISC-V chips, the 5th Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum was held in the Lingang New Area on August 13 to promote the rapid industrialization and application innovation of domestic RISC-V chips. Dai Weimin, Chairman of the Shanghai Open Processor Industry Innovation Center, Chairman, CEO and President of VeriSilicon, explained that the Dishui Lake Forum has been successfully held for four sessions. Each forum has promoted about 10 new domestic RISC-V chip products representing China's advanced IC design level and closely integrated with market and application needs. Among the more than 40 products promoted at the forum, the overall mass production rate has exceeded 90%, and they are widely used in various fields such as consumer electronics, smart homes, wearable devices, communications, automobiles, and industrial control. This mass production result fully shows that domestic RISC-V chips are accelerating from technological innovation to large-scale application, and have been implemented in many industries and application fields.
