Surveillance results showed that the number of influenza-like cases reported in sentinel hospitals across the country accounted for 4.4% of the total number of outpatient emergency visits, and the southern provinces were higher than those in the north. Among them, the top three pathogens in the positive rate of respiratory samples from outpatient emergency influenza-like cases at sentinel hospitals that carried out respiratory multi-pathogen surveillance were the novel coronavirus, influenza virus, and enterovirus; the top three pathogens in the positive rate of respiratory samples from hospitalized cases of severe acute respiratory infections were the novel coronavirus, influenza virus, human metapulmonary virus, and rhinovirus.
