10:55 AM EDT, 08/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RBC Capital Markets raised its price target for Daimler Truck (DTG.F) amid expectations of "strong" second-half margins, noting the German automaker's ongoing efforts to simplify and bolster its business. "Daimler Truck's Q2 results highlighted ongoing cyclical tailwinds as the North American market continues to recover. Meanwhile, we think the announcement of a large new US factory constitutes yet another sensible strategic move that, along with the Cost Down Europe plan and the ARCHION listing, should position DTG as a simpler and structurally more resilient business over the medium term," analysts said Thursday. The price target was lifted to 58 euros from 52 euros, while the stock's outperform rating was reaffirmed. The research firm also made "limited" changes to its 2026 EPS estimates, while those for 2027 and 2028 were increased. Sales projections over the three-year period were revised as well.
