Measures include imposing 100% ad valorem tariffs on large drones and drones deemed to pose a specific national security risk, and a 25% tariff on smaller drones. Drones and drone parts from the European Union, Japan, Liechtenstein, South Korea, and Switzerland are subject to a 15% tariff. Drones from the UK are subject to a 10% tariff. The White House said, “The relevant tariffs will take effect 21 days after signing. For other drone components that are not particularly sensitive, the tariffs will take effect 180 days after signing.”
