According to the Zhitong Finance App, Kejin International (06822) announced that the Group expects to record a loss attributable to the Company's owners of about HK$12.4 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (reporting period), while the same period last year (previous period) recorded a loss attributable to the Company's owners of about HK$40.9 million.

The expected decrease in losses is mainly due to the combined effects of the following: revenue decreased from about HK$250 million in the previous period to about HK$229 million in the reporting period, mainly due to market sentiment and uncertainties in US tariffs and expansion policies; other net income and earnings changed from loss of about HK$6.8 million in the previous period to income of approximately HK$8.5 million, mainly due to fair value income of about HK$6.1 million in the reporting period, compared with a fair value loss of HK$16.9 million in the previous period; gross margin increased from HK$51.5 million in the previous period to HK$59.3 million in the reporting period, and due to gross margin Production cost control was tightened during the reporting period and improved from about 20.5% in the previous period to about 25.9% in the reporting period; and administrative and operating cost controls were effective, reducing administrative expenses.
