According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Airlines (03931) announced that the Group expects to record net profit of approximately RMB 1,506 billion to RMB 1,581 billion for the half year ending June 30, 2026 (reporting period), an increase of about 100% to 110% over the same period last year. For the same period last year, the Group's net profit was approximately RMB 753 million.

The board of directors believes that the year-on-year increase in the Group's profit during the reporting period was mainly due to the Group's new customers, the expansion of new application scenarios, and the continuous increase in the volume of new products in the passenger, commercial, energy storage and other fields, and the continuous growth in business scale.
