The Zhitong Finance App learned that on Friday, the storage sector rose collectively. SanDisk (SNDK.US) rose more than 5%, Micron Technology (MU.US) and Western Digital (WDC.US) rose more than 3%, and SK Hynix (SKHY.US) and Seagate (STX.US) rose more than 2%. According to the news, on Thursday, August 13, EST, SanDisk announced a long-term financial model on Investor Day 2026, proposing a series of financial targets to be achieved from FY2028 to FY2030. Including this period, the company's revenue will maintain medium to high double-digit growth. SanDisk also clarified the market's concerns about the growth of bitcoins, suggesting that the amount of bits available for sale will be adjusted according to profit optimization needs, and promised that 100% of the remaining cash will be returned to shareholders after completing the business investment.

Goldman Sachs pointed out that SanDisk not only gave long-term financial guidance that far exceeded market expectations (80% gross profit margin, 75% operating profit margin), but also made a strong commitment to return 100% of excess free cash flow to shareholders. Furthermore, its next-generation HBF (High Bandwidth Flash) technology roadmap for AI inference brings huge upside potential to the company. Goldman Sachs reiterated its “buy” rating for SanDisk and gave a 12-month target price of up to 2,200 US dollars (based on a 20 times price-earnings ratio of $110 per share). Compared with the current share price of $1,528, this means about 44% room for growth.
