Chris Rokos is extending the time it takes for some investors to redeem all of their funds from their macro hedge funds to three times the original, following the example of larger multi-strategy funds, to lock in clients' funds for a longer period of time. According to people familiar with the matter, London-based Rokos Capital Management is introducing an investor-level redemption limit of 8.33% per quarter, which means it will take up to three years for investors to fully redeem their funds. In contrast, the current arrangement is up to one year, with 25% quarterly redemptions. People familiar with the matter said that the move was aimed at gradually shifting the fund's capital structure to funds with a longer term.
