A variety of high-quality vegetables are on people's tables all over the country. According to reports, Inner Mongolia makes full use of resource advantages such as a cool climate, sufficient lighting, clean soil, and few pests and diseases to produce high-quality green organic vegetables. It has built 248 refrigerated storage warehouses to achieve full pre-cooling coverage of production areas; it has 4 national backbone cold chain logistics bases, and has set up front warehouses in Beijing and Zhengzhou to ensure fresh products reach the whole country. Inner Mongolia grows more than 600,000 mu of fresh corn, producing about 2 billion ears of fresh ears per year. It has built the largest sweet corn grain processing base in the country, and the products are exported to more than 20 countries and regions. This year, Inner Mongolia fully implemented a strong foundation project for chilled vegetables, introduced special policies to support base construction, breeding, deep processing, cold chain logistics, and superimposed financial support such as loan interest rates and industrial insurance to enhance the ability to stabilize the production and supply of high-quality vegetables.
