The first floor of the apartment was buried. Police and fire rescuers who arrived at the scene rescued 2 residents from a buried one-story apartment. Another resident in a state of cardiac arrest was discovered. The resident was found dead after being taken to the hospital. Over the past three days, Geoje City experienced heavy rainfall, with rainfall exceeding 700 mm. In particular, from the evening of the 16th to the early morning of the 17th, rainfall in the city exceeded 400 mm, causing a secondary disaster.
