According to statistics from Shanghai Customs, in the first seven months of this year, Shanghai exported 40.09 billion yuan of ships, an increase of 64.1% over the previous year, with high-end vessels such as liquid carriers and large container ships accounting for 83.9%. Shanghai is an important high-end shipbuilding and offshore engineering equipment industry base in China. It has a relatively complete R & D design, assembly and construction, core support and supply chain service system. Research shows that at present, major shipbuilding companies in Shanghai have full production capacity and sufficient order reserves, and the production schedule of some enterprises has been extended to 2030.
