According to CNPC, recently, the Changqing Oilfield Basin Eastern Natural Gas Evaluation Project Team deployed a deep coalbed methane ultra-long horizontal well in the eastern Ordos Basin to successfully complete drilling. The horizontal section of the well is 3,100 meters long, and the coal seam drilling rate is as high as 95.8%, breaking the record for the longest horizontal section of deep coalbed methane drilling in China.
