August 15 is the 81st anniversary of Japan's announcement of unconditional surrender. Eighty-one years ago, Emperor Hirohito of Japan read out the “Armistice Decree” on the radio, announcing Japan's unconditional surrender. Eighty-one years later, however, the Takashi government continued to break through the post-war security red line in an attempt to speed up “re-militarization”. From deploying long-range missiles to a sharp increase in defense budgets, an unsettling puzzle is emerging when a series of seemingly scattered actions are put together. According to some Japanese scholars, the Japanese government is continuously speeding up the direction of establishing a “war system.”
