The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that on the night of August 17 local time, the Russian armed forces used strike drones to attack port infrastructure and maritime vessels related to the Ukrainian armed forces. According to reports, the operation mainly hit the following targets: Odesa Port: a “Poison Spider” class patrol boat responsible for escorting and safety in the unloading area, and multiple fuel storage tanks; Izmail Port: a terminal used to unload military supplies, a hangar for storing Western military equipment, and an unmanned ship warehouse.
