The Zhitong Finance App learned that recently, the National Energy Administration held a video conference on the National Renewable Energy Power Development and Construction Month (July) scheduling. The conference pointed out that in the first half of 2026, China's new energy and renewable energy development generally maintained a steady trend. The installed capacity of renewable energy power generation reached 2,455 billion kilowatts, accounting for 60.7% of the country's total installed power capacity. Of these, wind power photovoltaic power generation installations (about 1.95 billion kilowatts) accounted for nearly half, and the installed capacity of solar power generation was basically the same as that of coal-fired power generation.
