Geely Automobile (00175) appoints An Conghui as Chairman of the Board

Zhitong Finance App News, Geely Auto (00175) announced that Mr. Li Shufu has resigned as chairman of the board of directors and executive director of the company, effective August 18, 2026, to invest more time in his other businesses and cooperate with the implementation of the company's long-term succession plan. This leadership adjustment is also aimed at further improving the authorized management mechanism for professional managers and optimizing the company's corporate governance structure.

In recognition of Mr. Li Shufu's outstanding contributions to the Group's development over the years and his continued support for the Group, the Board of Directors announced that Mr. Li Shufu has been appointed as the honorary chairman for life. Honorary Chairman for Life is an honorary title and does not form part of the company's corporate governance structure.

In addition, Mr. An Conghui, the executive director of the company, has been appointed as the chairman of the board of directors, Mr. Li Donghui has resigned as the vice chairman of the board of directors, and the CEO, Mr. Gui Shengyue, has been appointed as the vice chairman of the board of directors and has resigned as the company's CEO. Mr. Gan Jiayue, the executive director, has been appointed as the company's CEO, effective August 18, 2026.
