Looking at the scale of foreign-related transactions, in July, the total cross-border balance of non-banking sectors such as enterprises and individuals was 1.7 trillion US dollars, an increase of 20% over the previous year; the foreign exchange market volume was 4.3 trillion US dollars, an increase of 8% over the previous year, all maintaining a high scale.

Looking at cross-border capital flows, in July, enterprises, individuals and other non-banking sectors had a net inflow of 59.8 billion US dollars of cross-border capital. Among them, the net inflow of capital under trade in goods remained high, and the net outflow of capital from trade in services and dividends paid to foreign-funded enterprises remained stable.

Looking at supply and demand in the foreign exchange market, in July, banks had a foreign exchange settlement surplus of 18.3 billion US dollars.
