According to the Zhitong Finance App, Ganghua Smart Energy (01083) announced its 2026 interim results. The group achieved a turnover of HK$11.328 billion during the period, an increase of 8.54% over the previous year; profit attributable to the company's shareholders of HK$690 million; basic profit per share was 18.8 HK cents; and plans to distribute an interim dividend of HK$5 per share.
In terms of the mainland gas business, in the face of the fact that real estate has not fully recovered and the country's natural gas consumption has declined due to a warm winter, the Group actively grasps policy opportunities such as “energy transformation” and “renovation and upgrading of old urban facilities”, and continues to vigorously expand the “Gas+” integrated energy business to drive gas sales growth. Civil gas price compliance work has been steadily implemented. The comprehensive price spread for urban gas increased by RMB 2 to RMB 0.59 per cubic meter, and overall gas business profits have grown steadily.
In the renewable energy business, distributed photovoltaics added 0.2 gigawatts connected to the grid during the period, with a cumulative installed capacity of 3 gigawatts; PV electricity sales increased 12% to 1.32 billion kilowatts; and electricity transactions doubled to 7.23 billion kilowatts. Inter-agency REITs and similar REITs were successfully issued during the period, raising about 900 million yuan, with a cumulative financing scale of 5.5 billion yuan, and active investment in business-related projects. Assets under Management (AuM) increased by 0.66 gigawatts to 1.5 gigawatts year-on-year, and continues to lay out the three major tracks with integrated optical storage, independent energy storage, and direct connection to green electricity.
2026 is the beginning of the national “15th Five-Year Plan”. The policy is clear and orderly construction of a new energy system, and it is proposed to build 100 national zero-carbon parks, which is highly compatible with the Group's business advantages. With the further deepening of the market-based reform of electricity in the Mainland, the industry will move towards higher quality development. PV asset management and market-based electricity sales business will be the core driving force for the Group's future performance growth.
