The website of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the State Supervision Commission reported on August 17 that, according to information from the Qinghai Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Qinghai Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision Commission opened a case to examine and investigate serious disciplinary violations by Zhu Xiaoqing, former party group secretary and director of the Provincial Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives. After investigation, Zhu Xiaoqing lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed the spirit of the Eight Regulations of the Central Committee, and accepted banquets in violation of regulations; disregarded organizational principles and helped others to transfer work; failed to maintain the bottom line of integrity and accepted gifts that might affect the impartial execution of official duties; lent public funds in violation of regulations; and his greed grew; used public power as a tool to seize personal gain, seeking benefits for others in terms of personnel work transfer, enterprise production and operation, etc., and illegally accepted huge sums of property; acting arbitrarily, caused significant losses to national interests. Zhu Xiaoqing seriously violated the Party's organizational discipline, integrity discipline, work discipline, and life discipline. It constituted a serious offense of office and was suspected of taking bribes and abusing authority. Furthermore, he did not retreat or withdraw after the 18th National Congress of the Party. It was serious in nature and had a bad impact, and should be dealt with seriously. According to the “Regulations of the Communist Party of China on Disciplinary Punishment”, “Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China”, “Law on Administrative Disposition of Public Officials of the People's Republic of China” and other relevant regulations, the Standing Committee of the Qinghai Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China studied and reported to the CPC Qinghai Provincial Committee for approval, and decided to dismiss Zhu Xiaoqing from his party membership; the Qinghai Provincial Supervisory Commission dismissed him from public office; seize his criminal proceeds; and refer the suspected crime to the procuratorial authorities for examination and prosecution in accordance with the law.
