05:42 AM EDT, 08/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg upgraded Accelleron Industries (ACLN.SW) to buy from hold, saying the company's "turbocharged" growth is "stronger and more durable" than analysts previously expected on the back of the marine and energy segments. "The global shipyard orderbook stands at around 191m compensated gross tonnage (CGT), which is equivalent to more than four years of the 2025 delivery run-rate of c44m CGT. This provides exceptional multi-year visibility, while an ageing fleet, dual-fuel engines and tighter environmental requirements add further structural support," the research firm said Monday. Berenberg also sees data centers as an "increasingly important structural driver" for Accelleron, together with wider decentralized power generation. The company, which provides turbochargers and fuel-injection systems, booked over $100 million in sales in prime power applications in 2025. As such, analysts increased their sales and EPS estimates by 8% and 11%, respectively, for 2026 through 2028. Berenberg's sales forecasts are 5% higher than consensus, while its net income assumptions are 7% above. "Accelleron trades at around 18x EV/EBITDA 2027E, which may initially look demanding for an industrial company. However, we believe the multiple leaves considerable upside when viewed against the combination of double-digit top-line growth and an estimated c22% CFROI for 2026-2028E," the research firm wrote. The stock's price target was raised to 92 francs from 70 francs.
