China Merchants Securities announced that the 36th meeting of the 8th board of directors of the company deliberated and passed the “Proposal on Capital Increase to China Merchants Securities International Limited”. It was agreed to increase the capital by no more than HK$7.6 billion to China Merchants International. The final amount was subject to regulatory approval, and the capital was increased once or in batches according to the actual situation of the company; at the same time, it was agreed that China Merchants International will increase the capital of no more than HK$6 billion to its wholly-owned subsidiary.
