Herbex Iberia's Takeover by Flamingo Produce Investments, Fondo Nazca IV Secures EU Nod

07:58 AM EDT, 08/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission cleared the joint takeover of Spanish herb and vegetable company Herbex Iberia by private equity fund Fondo Nazca IV and produce company Flamingo Group's Flamingo Produce Investments. The regulator said Monday that the transaction, which also includes Herbex's subsidiaries, would not raise competition concerns.
