The General Office of the People's Government of Sichuan Province recently issued the “Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Integration of the Three Networks” of Channel Networks, Logistics Networks, and Digital Networks. The opinions are put forward to build an efficient and resilient modern logistics service network. Support Chengdu to vigorously improve the capacity and level of international logistics services, build a strong national logistics hub and a key national cold chain logistics base, further implement a strengthened national integrated freight hub chain, accelerate the construction of a global international postal express hub carrier city, and enhance the connectivity, conversion, and radiation gathering functions of hub cities. Improve the operational efficiency of China-Europe trains, new land and sea corridors in the West, Yangtze River trains, Greater Bay Area trains, and “northbound” trains, and enhance logistics organization capabilities for Beijing-Kunming, Cheng-Chongqing, and riverside corridors and material support capabilities for strategic corridors leaving and entering Tibet. Combining the distribution of advantageous industries, the flow of goods in and out of Sichuan, and the flow of cultural tourism consumption, a “map” of the province's logistics network was created. Accelerate the construction of a “Belt and Road” import and export commodity distribution center, and build an import distribution center for specialty single products such as salmon and durian. Accelerate the construction of smart ports and raise the level of customs clearance facilitation.
