The maximum was 166.4 mm at Yuexi Liangmushan Station in Weiyuan County, Neijiang City. Heavy rainfall caused a geological disaster in Ganzi. There were no casualties. Local precautionary measures have been taken. At 17:00 yesterday, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Natural Resources and the Sichuan Meteorological Administration jointly issued a yellow weather risk warning for geological disasters for the next 24 hours, involving 10 cities and 69 counties including Chengdu, Deyang, Mianyang, Leshan, Meishan, Yibin, Ya'an, Aba, Ganzi, and Liangshan. As of 7:00 p.m. on August 18, a total of 55,928 safe-haven people had been transferred early in 11 cities and 80 counties in Sichuan within 24 hours. So far, since the flood began, a total of 1.08,900 people have been evacuated early in Sichuan.
