Georgina Energy on Track for September Drilling at Hussar Project in Australia

02:35 AM EDT, 08/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Georgina Energy (GEX.L) completed a water well at its Hussar EP513 project in Western Australia as it continues preparations to commence drilling in September. The well has maintained a consistent flow rate of between 250,000 liters per day to 350,000 liters per day to support drilling operations, according to a Tuesday filing. The water well rig will subsequently drill and install a 20-inch conductor pipe before the arrival of the Ensign Rig 970. The helium, hydrogen and natural gas exploration and development company is also advancing other site preparations, including excavation, waterproofing, grading, and trimming.
