AlzeCure Pharma Gets $10 Million From Eli Lilly Under Alzheimer's Treatment Deal

04:35 AM EDT, 08/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlzeCure Pharma (ALZCUR.ST) said Tuesday it received a $10 million upfront payment from Eli Lilly (LLY.F, LLY.SW), completing the initial transaction under their licensing and collaboration agreement for the Swedish biotech's Alzstatin program, including Alzheimer's drug candidate ACD680. Under the deal, Lilly assumes global rights to Alzstatin and responsibility for the continued clinical development and commercialization of ACD680. The agreement includes development and commercial milestone payments that could bring its total value to more than $1 billion, excluding royalties.
