Southern Manganese (01091) is pleased to see a year-on-year increase of no less than HK$350 million in profit attributable to shareholders in the medium term

According to the Zhitong Finance App, Southern Manganese (01091) announced that compared with the profit attributable to the Company's owners of approximately HK$173 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025 (first half of 2025), the Group expects to obtain no less than HK$350 million in profit attributable to the owners of the Company in the six months ending June 30, 2026 (first half of 2026).

The increase in profit expectations due to the Company's owners is mainly due to the following reasons: 1. The strong operating performance of the Group's electrolytic manganese (electrolytic manganese) and alloy materials production division in the first half of 2026 was mainly driven by an increase in the average selling price of electrolytic manganese products in the first half of 2026 compared to the first half of 2025; and 2. The increase in the operating performance of the Group's manganese ore mining division in the first half of 2026 compared to the first half of 2025.
