The Zhitong Finance App learned that Huakong Kangtai (01312) rose by more than 13%. As of press release, it had risen 10% to HK$0.033, with a turnover of HK$286,600.

According to the news, Huakong Kangtai announced that the group expects to have a comprehensive net loss of about HK$67.2 million to HK$100.7 million in the first half of 2026, and a net loss of about HK$321.4 million for the same period in 2025.

According to the announcement, the net comprehensive loss during the period is mainly due to the expected impairment loss of about HK$51 million to HK$63.1 million for the Group's fitness business in Singapore, specifically: impairment losses on property, plant and equipment of about HK$1.6 million to HK$2.4 million; impairment losses on right-to-use assets of approximately HK$9.7 million to HK$14.6 million; impairment losses on intangible assets of approximately HK$12.8 million to HK$19.2 million; and impairment losses of goodwill relating to the Singapore fitness business of approximately HK$26.9 million.

The expected decrease in losses is mainly due to the Group's impairment losses of approximately HK$373.6 million in the first half of 2025, which is significantly higher than the estimated impairment loss of HK$51 million to HK$63.1 million for the Group's fitness business in Singapore during this period.
