China Southern Communications (01617) Fa Yingxi expects mid-term net profit and comprehensive income to increase year-on-year to about 36 million yuan to 39 million yuan

According to the Zhitong Finance App, China Southern Communications (01617) announced that the Group expects to obtain unaudited net profit and comprehensive income of about RMB 36 million to RMB 39 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026, a significant increase compared with the unaudited net profit and comprehensive income of about RMB 26.1 million for the six months ended June 30, 2025.

The board of directors believes that the improvement in interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026 was mainly due to the continuous expansion of computing power infrastructure, the steady rise in the fiber-optic cable industry, further optimization of the market supply and demand pattern, and the company adjusted its product structure in response to the market, and the overall operating performance improved significantly during the reporting period compared to the same period last year.
