In order to raise funds for artificial intelligence construction, corporate borrowers have previously poured a huge supply of new bonds into the market; by September, they are expected to continue to increase their debt issuance efforts. Nicholas Elfner, co-head of research at Breckinridge Capital Advisors, stated, “The period after Labor Day and the beginning of the school season is usually a traditional busy period for the primary market for US investment-grade corporate bonds.” He further added: “As hyperscale cloud service providers increasingly raise huge amounts of financing, the total issuance amount of $200 billion in September appears to be within reach. Of course, this figure is still highly dependent on the delicate game between supply and demand, and whether the treasury bond market can maintain basic stability.”
