According to the Zhitong Finance App, Xiansheng Pharmaceutical (02096) announced its 2026 interim results, achieving revenue of 4.588 billion yuan, an increase of 27.8% over the previous year; the revenue from the innovative drug business was 3,887 billion yuan, accounting for 84.9% of the total revenue ratio, an increase of 34.1% over the previous year. Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was 829 million yuan, up 37.9% year on year; adjusted profit attributable to equity shareholders of the company was 964 million yuan, up 48.7% year on year.
According to the announcement, the increase in profit was mainly due to the increase in revenue from innovative drugs and licensing revenue.
The group focuses on the fields of neuroscience, anti-tumor, autoimmunity and anti-infection, while actively forwardly laying out disease fields with major clinical needs in the future to carry out the corporate mission of “made for patients”. Within the focus area, the Group has approved a total of ten innovative drugs for marketing. As of June 30, 2026, the Group's various products have entered the guidelines and routes published by more than 100 government agencies or authoritative professional societies, and more than 45 products have been included in the National Medical Insurance Drug List (NRDL).
The group has reached overseas equity licensing cooperation with leading international pharmaceutical companies such as AbbVie, Boehringeringelheim, and Ipsen for five self-developed innovative drugs. The total transaction amount exceeds US$4.6 billion, which fully reflects the recognition by global partners of the Group's independent R&D capabilities, innovative pipeline quality and product global market potential, and has laid the foundation for the global development and value realization of innovative achievements, and has become an important driving force for the Group's continued growth.
The group continues to strengthen capacity development for innovative drugs. It has R&D innovation centers in Shanghai, Nanjing, Beijing, Boston and Hong Kong, as well as national key laboratories for neurological and oncology drug research and development. The Group's R&D system covers the entire process of drug discovery, pre-clinical development, clinical trials, and registration, and has leading platforms for protein engineering, multi-anti/TCE, ADC, messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA), AI-assisted molecular generation, and protein degradation. As of June 30, 2026, the group had about 1,000 R&D personnel (including 214 doctorates and 520 master's degrees).
