MS&AD Insurance to Invest GBP200 Million in Standard Life's Pension Risk Transfer Partnership

01:12 AM EDT, 08/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Life (SDLF.L) shareholder MS&AD Insurance Group committed to invest up to 200 million pounds sterling in a partnership being established by the British life insurance group with financial institutions and asset managers. The Pension Risk Transfer partnership includes CVC Capital Partners (CVC.AS), Prudential Financial, and Goldman Sachs Group, according to a Thursday release. Completion is expected in the first half of 2027. The Japanese insurance company's investment will be carried out in stages. In exchange for its contribution, it will secure the right to appoint an observer to the partnership's board.
