The Silicon Industry Branch released data. According to Antec statistics, silicon wafer prices have risen sharply this week. Among them, the average transaction price of N-type G10L monocrystalline silicon wafers was 1.12 yuan/piece, up 40.00% from last week; the average transaction price of N-type G12R monocrystalline silicon wafers was 1.14 yuan/piece, up 26.67% from last week; and the average transaction price of N-type G12 monocrystalline silicon wafers was 1.22 yuan/piece, up 10.91% from last week. According to research, downstream battery prices continued to rise this week compared to last week, and module prices rose slightly from last week. Among them, the mainstream battery price was 0.33-0.35 yuan/W, up 23.64% from last week, and the mainstream module price was 0.69-0.71 yuan/W, up 1.45% from last week. The main reason for the sharp rise in silicon wafer prices this week is the increase in downstream demand. Specifically: Although domestic terminal demand is average, due to the 232 policy, overseas cell companies are speeding up the procurement of silicon wafers during the window period in order to avoid risks. At the same time, India's traditional peak installation season is approaching, driving a concentrated release of demand for silicon wafer export orders. Increased demand, compounded by the market sentiment of buying up or down, the market showed a tight supply situation in the short term, driving up silicon wafer prices. Furthermore, since 183 silicon wafers are mainly supplied to overseas markets, demand for 210R and 210N silicon wafers is mainly aimed at the domestic market, so 183 silicon wafers increased even more this week. According to research, the overall operating rate of the industry this week was the same as last week, with no significant changes. Among them, the operating rate of the two first-tier enterprises was 52% and 54%, the operating rate of integrated enterprises was between 56% and 60%, and the operating rate of the rest of the enterprises was between 50% and 78%.
