I. National general public budget revenue and expenditure
(1) The general public budget revenue situation.
From January to July, the national general public budget revenue was 14369.6 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8% over the previous year. 3. Corporate income tax was 3276.9 billion yuan, an increase of 7.2% over the previous year.
4. Personal income tax amounted to 1066.2 billion yuan, an increase of 14.9% over the previous year.
5. Value-added tax and consumption tax on imported goods amounted to 1156.9 billion yuan, an increase of 12.3% over the previous year. Tariffs amounted to 135.6 billion yuan, an increase of 3.1% over the previous year.
6. Export tax rebates amounted to 1480 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% over the previous year.
7. Urban maintenance and construction tax was 323.7 billion yuan, an increase of 4.3% over the previous year.
8. Vehicle purchase tax was 133.7 billion yuan, an increase of 13% over the previous year.

From January to July, the national general public budget spent 16288.9 billion yuan, an increase of 1.3% over the previous year. The main expenditure categories are as follows:
1. Education expenditure was 2460.6 billion yuan, an increase of 0.7% over the previous year.
2. Science and technology expenditure was 540.8 billion yuan, an increase of 1.5% over the previous year.
3. Cultural tourism, sports and media expenditure was 187.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.9%.
4. Social security and employment expenses amounted to 2954.8 billion yuan, an increase of 7% over the previous year.
5. Health expenditure was 1361.3 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8% over the previous year.
6. Energy saving and environmental protection expenditure was 259.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 11.9%.
7. Urban and rural communities spent 108.6.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.9%.
8. Agriculture, forestry and water expenditure was 1148.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 6.8%.
9. Transportation expenditure was 618.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%.
10. Debt interest payments amounted to 796.6 billion yuan, an increase of 5.2% over the previous year.
II. Budget revenue and expenditure of national government funds
(1) The budget revenue situation of government funds.
From January to July, the national government fund budget revenue was 1821.9 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 21.2%. Looking at the central government and local authorities, the budget revenue of central government funds was 277.2 billion yuan, up 6.8% year on year; local government fund budget revenue was 1544.7 billion yuan, down 24.8% year on year. Among them, revenue from state-owned land use rights concessions was 1173.1 billion yuan, down 30.8% year on year.
(2) Budget expenditure of government funds.
From January to July, the national government fund budget spent 4541 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 16.4%. Looking at the central government and local authorities, central government fund budget expenditure was 271.9 billion yuan, down 61.8% year on year; local government fund budget expenditure was 4269.1 billion yuan, down 9.5% year on year. Among them, expenditure related to revenue from state-owned land use rights concessions was 1947.4 billion yuan, down 17.4% year on year.
